Usage: Antioxidant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antibacterial, carminative, depuritive, digestive, diuretic, emmenagogue, stimulant and tonic. Aromatherapy, healing (relieves pain, headaches, insomnia), Emotional health (anxiety), perfumery, stimulant, anesthetic. Helps with colic, dyspepsia, flatulence, bloating, and indigestion.
Blends well with: Caraway, Chamomile, Galbanum, Lavender, Lavandin, Rosemary, Rosewood, and Ylang Ylang.
Used as a traditional Mediterranean and Middle Eastern spice, its seeds are used in cuisine, aromatherapy, and healing purposes. The plant itself grows to about one foot. And has small white or pink flowers with cumin seeds in the middle.
